Saying Their Names
Discovering nine enslaved persons.
Nine enslaved persons were living in Lincoln County, Kentucky on or about 27 March 1784 when the probate inventory of my 5th great-grandfather Paul Froman’s estate was entered in Book of Wills A on pages 140-141. These souls were:
A man named David
A woman named Sibb
A woman named Nanney
A woman named Nancy
A girl named Hannah
A girl named Beeke
A girl named Sarah
A girl named Sibb
A boy named David
